Kostya Stepanov
CEO, Founder

With years of software development and project management under his belt, Kostya yearned for a working environment where software developers were highly motivated and were equally rewarded. In late 2006 he co-founded Shakuro a company that was built upon the working principles of professionalism, ownership, and fun.
His tasks don't always go hand in hand with his role, however he is responsible for client relations, project management, and if you ask nicely, he'll get you a cup of coffee :)

Vladimir
Dikusar
Lead developer, Co-Founder

With over 7 years of experience in cutting-edge software development, Vlad is our other co-founder and an expert in all technical things. No project can be completed without his knowledge and review to ensure quality solutions for our clients.
When he's not drafting solutions or rolling up his sleeves for another development challenge, you may find him walking around with a huge backpack and an old sleeping bag somewhere in the hills around Sevastopol.

Roman
Samoylenko
Graphic designer

With a seemingly unlimited supply of energy, Roman's passions are too numerous to mention. As a designer he draws upon his endless supply of experiences to create visually stunning, and highly useful designs which are our trademark.
For a designer who creates remarkably clean designs, he constantly surprises us with stories on how deep in mud he was in his latest downhill bike race.
-
Sergey Novikov
Web developer

Sergey was born to be a programmer. He has an authentic passion for programming and everything around it. He is the brightest CakePHP star in the company and always aware of every new fact about Cake and web development in general.
Guess, what does he do in his free time? That's right ... he programs!
-
Alexander
Povstyanoy
Web developer

Everyone is born with a gift, Alex's is finding bugs where others see fully functioning software. He compliments this skill with the ability to rapidly provide solutions and implement fixes. He also serves to support Vlad in his quest for new and innovative ways to solve old, and new problems.
When he doesn't use his 'super power' to find bugs , Alex can be found behind the lens of a camera.
-
Yuri Kharchenko
Web developer

-
Dmitry
Volotskoy
iPhone developer Project manager

Is it possible to keep a lot of projects in a single head and still have fun? Definitely, yes! Dmitry is the best proof. He is Shakuro's "main brain" and doesn't get tired deploying new technologies in the development process mixing them together with perfect jokes.
Thanks to his great sense of humor, Dmitry always has something to say and nobody has ever seen him in a bad mood. He is also the captain of the Shakuro football team and puts a lot of efforts into making some lazy bodies play that amazing game every weekend.
-
Edward Khorkov
Project manager

Edward started at Shakuro as a Junior Developer, but quickly outgrew the "junior" tag with several stunning successes. He is currently working his diploma in Computer Science (honors) this year, and seems to convince most people who meet him that he is too clever to be a human being. Several of us in the office have him on watch and swear that we saw him 'glow', but mysteriously the camera failed to record the incident.
-
Lera Kulikova
Graphic designer

Lera likes Flash. She prefers fresh Flash for breakfast and roast Flash for dinner. Her dog name's Flash and he likes Flash as well. Lera voted for Flash in the last president election (and it won). Her boyfriend has to like Flash as well. She believes that Flash will save the world.
Got hot news about Flash? I bet Lera has already discussed it even with her grandma.
-
Alexey Belyaev
Web developer

Alexey has a split personality. He can be calm, serious and totally focused on his work. Sometimes only his typing fingers can help realize that he is still alive. This is Alexey at work.
Another Alexey is absolutely different, who can't just idle his time away, he tries to enjoy every second of his life. He likes sun, sea and he can't live without extreme sports and music
-
Alexey
Bezruchko
Web developer

It does not matter how difficult the task is, how much information is needed to be learnt in order to get it done. It's always surprisingly easy for Alexey to get familiar with the required information or new technology.
Being a member of International Karate Association, every evening he takes his glasses off, puts on his colorful costume and flies out of the window to defend the citizens of our town.
-
Alexey Lebedev
iPhone developer

It is thought that every year a small bit of Apple's budget is going to Alexey's pocket. He tends to be a dedicated evangelist of Apple computers within our company and does this job very well. Many people like simplicity and beauty of Apple's devices, but no one likes it more than Alexey. That's why we call him iAlex inside our company.
Being a professional iPhone developer he pays a lot of attention to details. Every piece of interface is another challenge for him of how to make beautiful things easier to use and simple things look nicer.
-
Michael
Goryachkin
Project manager

Michael spends his free time watching numerous seminars and reading tons of articles about project management and therefore continuously trying to bring a science approach to his work.
But his true passion is socializing with people. So do not be surprised when having discussed your project you will find yourself chatting about clash of cultures, globalisation or a possibility to live on Mars.
-
Sasha
Vinogradov
UI developer

War. War never changes. Every single day a lot of beautiful minds all over the world are fighting against browsers' tricks and glitches in the name of cross-browser support. Sasha goes on the very front-line of this epic battle, bringing his vast knowledge and huge desire to outperform his yesterday's achievements. Every challenging task just makes him stronger.
But actually he is an extremely pacific person who likes peace, labor and may … and his 5 years old all season sneakers.
